Community Marketing
- Community marketing is a very effective way of customer bonding, resulting in a stronger relationship with the target group and an increase of the brand preference.
- The existence of a brand community gives the possibility to communicate and interact with a specific target group (kids, teenagers, 30+, 50+, women, ;..)
- Community refers to a group of people with the same interests having the possibility to interact and meet with each other virtually (blog, chat, bulletin boards, forum, …) or physically (seminar, party, congress, café, …).
- These communities could be created by the brand or by different strong brands. An integration and association of the brand within existing communities is an option.
- Community members can react and interact with the brand by using the tools offered by the community platform but even more interesting is the interaction and communication between community members.
- Two most important success factors of a community are the “member engagement” and “content”
