CASE: Agoria – ICT image campaign

Getting the Belgian ICT sector in touch with youngsters.
On behalf of Agoria, the Belgian federation for ICT, ENGAGE BBDO put their heads together with Proximity BBDO and organized a three-wave synergy campaign towards students in their last year high school.
First of all an amusing online test was launched at www.hownerdyareyou.be to show that everyone nowadays is a bit ‘nerdy’. With this test we made the bridge to the Digital Masters. The Digital Masters 2008 is an online inter school competition where students competed with each other over 6 weeks on ICT-colored assignments that were linked to different themes such as Mobility, Ecology, and Communication.
Approximately 270 teams took part at the competition, divided over 210 schools. At the end Charlie’s Angels from Sint-Aloysius college Ninove were the winning team and went home with fantastic ICT prizes for the team & school.
In addition to this competition ENGAGE BBDO organized a nationwide CEO Tour. CEOs of Belgian ICT companies visited over 70 schools, giving a brief presentation of the ICT sector and the Digital Masters.
